The fly-pack is on the road. Our crew is in the Bay Area through August 10 — the Great American Music Hall and a run of open days around it. Eight cameras packed into road cases, a switcher, and a workflow built to move fast.
This is the part of the job that doesn’t slow down: multicam coverage in, edits out before breakfast. Same-night handoffs, next-morning cuts. When a room is only going to happen once, you shoot it like it’s only going to happen once.
